UPDATED: Female Pedestrian Struck in Mississauga

Emergency services are on scene after a female pedestrian was struck in Mississauga tonight.
Police say that officers responded to a call at 8:41 p.m. for a pedestrian struck in the area of Mavis Road and Knotty Pine Grove.
Mavis is currently closed in both directions.
We will update as information becomes available.
UPDATED: She was pronounced dead on scene and the driver fled the scene, say police.
