Female hospitalized with severe burns after fire breaks out in Brampton

Paramedics and Brampton Fire are on scene for a residential fire in Brampton this morning (Nov. 7).

A basement apartment fire was reported at 10:46 a.m. on Longevity Rd in the area of Mississauga Rd and Williams Pkwy.

One female has been hospitalized with severe burns, while a male and two females were also taken to local hospital as a precaution.

Neighbouring houses have been evacuated and the fire was put out.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
