Federal offender known to frequent Niagara Region

The Ontario Provincial Police are asking the public for help in locating a federal offender.

The OPP ROPE squad (Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement) said Monday that Ho-Wayne Walker is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of Statutory Release. Walker is known to frequent Niagara Region, as well as the Greater Toronto Area, Peterborough and Sudbury.

Walker is described as a Black man who is about five-foot-six and 141 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He is currently serving a six-year, 10-month sentence. The prison term was for two counts of possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition, aggravated assault, assault and possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order.
