Federal election candidates from around Durham Region will converge in Courtice on Monday for a debate on climate change.

Representatives from the Conservative, Green, Liberal, and NDP parties will present their ideas to address the climate crisis to voters both in-person to a socially-distanced audience, and over Zoom.

Climate Justice Durham, an advocacy group, has organized the meeting. Their volunteers campaign for a variety of climate and Indigenous rights-related issues.

Courtice’s Hope Fellowship Church will host the event from 7-8 pm on September 13.
