The sun keeps shining on the Greater Toronto Area today.

According to Environment Canada’s sensors at Pearson Airport, Feb. 6 will start off a bit cloudy ahead of sunrise at about 7:30 a.m. As a result, temperatures will be a little cool at -4 degrees.

However, it will warm up over the morning until a peak at 2 degrees around 1 p.m. Starting around noon, the cloud cover will dissipate until a mainly sunny afternoon until sundown around 5:30 p.m.

Winds will remain low throughout the day, peaking at a 10 km/h breeze from the north around 6 a.m. The wind chill in the morning will make it feel closer to -8 first thing, but as the winds fall it will warm up.

Following that they’ll fall to a largely directionless 5 km/h breeze and the windchill will cease around noon.

Come nightfall some clouds will re-emerge but soon dissipate, leading to a starry evening.
