DRIZZLE

The cold, overcast, damp weather that largely defined January will continue into another month.

Though the groundhog prepares to give his verdict on whether the weather will change, things do not look promising given today’s forecast. According to Environment Canada’s Pearson Airport sensors, the GTA will see temperatures steadily rise from 2 degrees at 6 a.m.

At that time, a 40 per cent risk of drizzle will roll into the area on winds of around 20 km/h. This risk will continue throughout the day until at least 6 p.m. During this time temperatures will continue to climb until peaking at 6 degrees by 1 p.m. After this peak temperatures will fall to about 3 degrees by 6 p.m.

However, the wind will continue to blow at about 15 km/h making it feel like -9 degrees tomorrow night.
