They’re experts in all things food and kitchen related so it’s only natural that Hamilton’s Casual Gourmet has moved into the realm of foodservice.

According to a post shared Wednesday (Oct. 20) on the business’s Instagram, the CG team has developed a take-out menu.

“It’s official! Our take out restaurant is now open!” the post said.

“Using a bunch of choice ingredients from our favourite local makers to create the most awesome sandwiches and “grab n go” meals!”

So far, the menu features some delicious looking bagel sandwiches made from ingredients sourced from the store’s favourite local vendors and makers but posts in recent weeks suggest many more items will be added soon.

With the purchase of one of these hand-held delights, a cup of French press coffee from a Canadian free-trade, organic coffee maker is just $1.

The new take-out service will be offered Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
