Father’s Day food truck event happening soon in Milton

A Father’s Day food truck event is happening soon in the Town of Milton.
The first annual “For the Love of Fathers and Food Trucks” event will take place at the Milton Fairgrounds, located at 136 Robert St., on Sunday, June 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The free event aims to bring the community and visitors together to celebrate the fathers and father figures in their lives.
It will feature food trucks, beverage vendors, marketplace goodies, music, axe throwing and fun for the whole family.
A portion of the event proceeds will go to the Compassion Society, an organization that helps the community by providing food, clothing, everyday household articles and referrals to local resources.
The event is open to all ages and will be wheelchair accessible.
