Fatality near Burlington GO Station will affect afternoon transit riders

A fatality has occurred near the Burlington GO station.
Around 1:30 p.m. today (Dec. 1), a deadly incident was reported. The investigation is ongoing and GO Train service has been delayed or cancelled on the Lakeshore West line.
Trains will not be able to use the line until the investigation is over.
According to an official from Metrolinx, “We are working hard to return to our regular service as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.”
Go Trains will continue to run as far as the Burlington GO station and GO Buses will run to Aldershot and West Harbour GO stations.
