Fatal 403 collision closes stretch of Hwy 52 Ancaster to Wayne Gretzky Parkway
One person died, and another was seriously injured after two collisions on Hwy 403 Friday morning. Hwy 52 Ancaster to Wayne Gretzky Pkwy remains closed.

One person has died, and another was seriously injured after a pair of collisions on Hwy. 403 Friday morning involving motorcycles.

At around 4 a.m., police responded to a collision near Jerseyville Rd. A motorcyclist was seriously injured and transported to hospital.

As emergency crews responded to the initial collision, they witnessed a second crash in the area involving a motorcyclist.

Kyle Jason Dow, a 40-year-old Brant County resident, has been identified as the deceased.

Hwy. 403 eastbound from Hwy. 52 Ancaster to Wayne Gretzky Pkwy. in Brantford was closed for approximately seven hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene.

Both collisions remain under investigation. Police are asking anyone in the area of either collision who may own a dash camera and may have witnessed the collision, or anyone with information to assist the investigation, to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122..
