Fans to rally outside Tim Hortons Field for Forge FC send-off ahead of CPL Final in Ottawa

Hoards of fans are set to rally outside Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton on Friday to give Forge FC a heartfelt send-off ahead of the Canadian Premier League Final in Ottawa.
Forge will face Atletico Ottawa at 6 p.m. on Sunday at TD Place Stadium.
Fans of the two-time CPL champs are scheduled to gather outside Gate 3 on Melrose Ave. at 11:50 a.m. on Friday.

Ottawa, who are just one-year-removed from their expansion season, secured home-field advantage for the one-match Final by finishing atop the league table with 49 points.
Forge, meanwhile, have been the team to beat since the league’s inaugural season in 2019. The Hammers won back-to-back titles before losing at home to Pacific FC in last year’s Final.
