Famous ice cream and bakery opens its first St. Catharines’ location

One of Quebec’s favourite confectionary stops just opened its doors in a popular St. Catharines plaza.
Mr. Puffs Dessert Bar, a Montreal-based after-dinner treat stop, just opened its very first location in the GTA last summer and has now landed in the Walmart plaza between Louth St. and Vansickle Rd.
The vegan-friendly yeast-based doughnuts are always made without dairy, eggs, peanuts, soy, or preservatives, making the puffs a great option for those with dietary restrictions. However, some glazes contain nuts lactose or eggs.
There is no shortage of selection as the chain, of course, has classics like honey-glazed, as well as cinnamon sugar, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and apple cinnamon. And don’t worry, each of the treats comes with little wooden forks so the good stuff lands in your mouth, not your lap and hands.
However, in a unique twist, you can also pay ‘food scientist’ if you want a syringe to inject some jam and other sweet fillings into your doughnuts. Best of all, it’s “Do It Yourself” so you can add a little… or a lot!

They also soft serve ice cream in the traditional dipped cone, as an out-of-this-world milkshake or in a banana split-style tray to combine with the puffs for a super decadent sundae.
