Family worried for Ottawa woman missing in Brampton

Police and family members are searching for a woman from Ottawa who went missing in Brampton this week.

Peel Regional Police say 52-year-old Rahel Hassen was last seen in the area of Clark Blvd. and Bramalea Rd. around 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 11).

Hassen was temporarily living in Brampton and is originally from the Ottawa area, and family members say they are concerned for her well-being.

Hassen is described as a female with light brown skin, standing five-foot-six-inches tall with a medium build, short curly black hair, and brown eyes.

She has no scars or visible marks, and was last seen wearing a dark green hijab, turquoise green sweater, white t-shirt, black ankle dress with red polka dots, and black and white striped running shoes.
