Family worried as police search for missing Thorold teen

A missing person investigation has been launched after a young Thorold girl has not been seen by family members since the end of August.

Niagara Regional Police say Layla Travers, 14, was last seen in the area of Port Robinson Rd. and Kottmeier Rd. in Thorold on August. 29.

Police, family and friends say they are concerned for her welfare.

Travers is described as white, 5-foot-4, thin build, and shoulder length brown hair. She has a nose piercing.

Niagara police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding Travers.
