Hamilton Police continue to investigate the death of 20-year-old Brock Beck, who died from a “stabbing attack” last summer. Police believe it was the result of a “road rage” incident.

On Tuesday (Nov. 24), Brock’s family announced a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of those responsible.

On July 26,  just shortly before 2 a.m., officers responded to 3063 Binbrook Rd for reports of a disturbance. Police say when they arrived, Brock was located with injuries sustained from a sharp object and transported to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

A 16-year-old youth was also injured in the incident, but was treated at the hospital and quickly released.

“Through investigation, police believe the suspects pulled up behind Brock’s vehicle just prior to 2 a.m. and confronted him and his friend in the driveway of the residence,” said Hamilton Police. “Investigators also believe that Brock’s murder was a result of a road rage incident gone wrong.”

Police say the $20,000 reward offered by Brock’s family has been raised privately.
