Extra long break begins for students in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills

Students across Halton Region have the next four days off.
Starting tomorrow, March 29, elementary and secondary school students in both the Catholic and public school systems will begin their mini-vacation, beginning with Good Friday and including Easter Monday, which is April 1.
Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 2.
During this time, the school buses that operate jointly by both boards, will not be picking up passengers.
The following weekend will also see students on another extended break.
Again, both boards will have a professional activity (PA) day on Monday, April 8.

That day coincides with the much anticipated solar eclipse with many communities holding viewing events for the public.
