Students looking to hit the books for reading week can get extra time to study with extended hours of Brampton library study halls later this month.
The Brampton Library runs After-Hours Study Halls at several locations across the city, giving students a quiet place to study between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays at the Four Corners, Gore Meadows, and Springdale library branches.
But learners will soon have many more after-hours study hall options, with slots open daily for a limited time during reading week.
Many universities give students time to catch up on assignments and classes during reading week, and the Brampton Library will have study halls open daily from Oct. 14 to Oct. 26.
Spots are available for sign-up Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m to 1 a.m., and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Studiers must register for their preferred session) in person at any branch, online, or by telephone at 905-793-4636. Registration opens no more than one week in advance and is required for each session, the Brampton Library says.
Only one registration is permitted per library card per day and, once registered, space is available on a first-come-first-served basis until the room is full.
After-Hours Study Halls are open to Library card holders only. Yo can find out more about the Brampton Library’s After-Hours Study Halls and sign up for a free Brampton Library card by visiting www.BramptonLibrary.ca.
