Ontario housing starts up, but still far off needed levels for 1.5 million homes

The Town of Milton is reconstructing the intersections at Campbell Avenue East and Campbellville Road and at Campbell Avenue East and Canyon Road. As a result, periodic extended lane closures will take place until Nov. 30.

Work for this project began in July 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2022.

The project consists of full road excavation, storm drainage maintenance and a roundabout at Campbellville Road and Campbell Avenue East, including illumination and landscaping.

Staged closures will be required until mid-November, including a full closure of Campbell Avenue East between Campbellville Road to Canyon Road.

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while travelling in and around construction areas.

Alternative traffic routes include Guelph Line, Limestone Road and Appleby Line.
