Traffic delays are expected both on the QEW in Mississauga and on a nearby road on weeknights from June 26 through July 13 as lanes and on-ramps will temporarily close to allow crews to continue work on the highway bridge over the Credit River.

Officials with the QEW/Credit River Improvement Project overseeing the major bridge rehabilitation work say two westbound lanes of the QEW between Hurontario St. and Erin Mills Pkwy. will close on weeknights only between the above dates from as early as 10:30 p.m. to as late as 6 a.m. the following mornings.

The QEW westbound on-ramps at Hurontario St. will also be shut down on those dates from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., officials say.

Additionally, Premium Way, from Lynchmere Ave. to Dickson Rd., will be reduced by a lane from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on those dates.

Two-way traffic on Premium Way will be maintained at all times through flagging operations.

No closures will be in effect on Friday, June 30.
