Salute the Troops Variety Show
In celebration of our 10 year anniversary, the Military Casualty Support Foundation (MCSF) is proud to present Salute the Troops Variety Show, our inaugural Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at The International Centre in Mississauga.
The evening will begin with a Cocktail Reception, followed by a marvellous 1940s-inspired Variety Show filled with plenty of toe-tapping, eye-catching and humorous entertainment that will pay homage to a fascinating decade. Since our inception in 2006, the MCSF has collected over $600,000 in donations from events and private donors. Our goal this year is to raise another $100,000 to help us continue to make a difference in the lives of our wounded veterans and their families.
Salute the Troops Variety Show will transport you back to the iconic 1940's - when swing was big, but bands were bigger!
Emcee Sean Cullen will have you holding your stomach from laughter as this award winning performer delights with his unique style of comedy.
Watch the fast springy movements of the swing dancers as they show off their boogie woogie and lindy hop.
To close out the night we will be entertained by theBig Band featuring Sean Jones whose interpretative performances have wowed crowds internationally.
Sponsoring the Salute the Troops Variety Show is an opportunity to support wounded Canadian veterans and their families in a way that is over and above what the government offers. Our programs help improve the lives of these soldiers by increasing their mobility and allowing for more freedom in their every day life. Click here to learn how you can be a part of the event!
