City Centre club is excited to welcome residents of the GTA community to our Annual Open house, held on 24th Oct, Tuesday 12pm - 1pm @ Mississauga Central Library (Burnhamthorpe) in Room CL3. Light refreshments and snacks will be served by our club members - Potluck style! 

An Open House is an opportunity for guests to attend a Toastmasters meeting and get a FIRSTHAND experience on how the meetings are structured, to progressively expose its members to the elements of what makes a good speaker. To be efficient and effective with words is walking on a path of true leadership. Toastmasters program has successfully created programs to support its members growth in their personal and professional lives.

Glynis D’Souza has served District 86 as Area Director (2015-2016) and Club Growth Director (2016-2017). She has started 22 new Toastmasters clubs during her term which helped the District achieve Distinguished Status, becoming the only one in Canada to win this distinction. At the Annual Toastmasters Convention this year in Vancouver, Glynis was presented with the ‘Excellence in Club Growth’ award by Mike Storkey, President of Toastmasters International. She has been interviewed on Rogers TV, Radio Mango and featured in several press releases as a passionate champion for developing good leaders and communicators in the community. A Certified John Maxwell Speaker Trainer and Coach, Glynis is currently a member at the Great Minds Advanced Toastmasters in Mississauga.

The day is Tuesday, time 12-1pm. This 24th October come to the Mississauga Central Library (Burnhamthorpe) Room CL3, and experience a group , a meeting that will bring a new possibility in your life. As Timothy O’Leary once said, “You are only as young as the last time you changed your mind”.
