MCS Chorus presents Rutter's GLORIA and Favourite Carols
Join the MCS Chorus / Mississauga on December 2 for a celebration of the seasonal music of John Rutter. Under the direction of Mervin W. Fick, Artistic Director, the chorus presents Rutter’s vibrant Gloria, and many of his well known and loved carols and carol arrangements.
Rutter’s Gloria, a cornerstone of the modern choral repertoire, is exalted, devotional, and jubilant. MCS Chorus is performing this dynamic, fiery work with brass, organ, timpani, and percussion.
Rutter's carols are full of joy and warmth. The lively rhythms of Shepherd's Pipe Carol, the delicate beauty of Mary's Lullaby, the sparkle of the Star Carol, and the tender loveliness of What Sweeter Music, will enwrap you in the music of the Christmas season!
Tickets: $20 / $10 Youth (7 to18) / free for kids 6 and younger. Available at www.mcschorus.ca
