Lecture Me! a series on Tuesday, September 19 with Prof. Scott Prosser

On Tuesday, September 19, Professor Scott Prosser of the Department of Chemical and Physical Sciences will present The Magic of Molecules: A Story of an Enzyme which Devours Pesticides. The talk will explore the strange world of protein catalysts called enzymes. Proteins do everything in our cells from structure to transporter, receptor or super catalyst. How do they do it?
The Lecture Me! series will be hosted at the Mississauga Central Library in the Noel Ryan Auditorium from 7:00-8:30pm once a month and highlight research from different departments by some of our top faculty members in a way that is approachable and fun for the whole family. The event and parking are free!
