The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) Experiential Education Office and Mississauga Central Library are proud to present Lecture Me! a series of lectures by UTM Faculty.

On Tuesday, April 4, Professor Marc Johnson of the Department of Biology will present The Importance of Plants and Parks in the Urban Jungle. The talk will explore how cities influence the environment around us and how urban parks and plants contribute to maintain the health of humans and ecosystems alike.

The Lecture Me! series will be hosted at the Mississauga Central Library on the first Tuesday of each month between 6:30-8:30pm and highlight research from different departments by some of our top faculty members in a way that is approachable and fun for the whole family. This multidisciplinary series will feature a different faculty member each month who will deliver their presentation to the community about their research. The event and parking are free!
