The Annual Community Crime Awareness Day is organized by the Mississauga Chinese Business Association in partnership with the Peel Regional Police, Rogers TV and Safe City Mississauga. Community Crime Awareness Day brings citizens together to learn about community safety and policing issues in the region, emphasizing cohesion and municipal harmony. A combination of information, entertainment and friendship helps to promote a positive, safe and supportive environment for people who live and work in Mississauga. This event is great for families and friends. Attendees can enjoy free food and drink. Live entertainment and activities throughout the day will include cultural performances, taekwondo demonstrations, and the Peel Regional Police's robot demonstration. Activities will also include a hot dog eating contest, face painting, inflatable games, stilt walker, wheel of fortune and lucky draws.
