Boris Novkovic multi awarded Croatian singer and writer.  For this performance Boris will be accompanied by the "Reel Time" band from. Guest performance by Mississauga own HANA BAJRIC,young awarded writer/performer.

Composer, singer (Sarajevo, BiH, December 25, 1967) Born in the family of musicians he moves as a child to Zagreb. He attended the Center for Culture and Art in Zagreb, actively engaged in sports. The first album, which was released in 1986, was sold in 160,000 copies. In the period from 1988 to 1991, he released four more albums, sold close to the milion copies. He became a singing star in the former Yugoslavia. Over 3 decades he wrote many songs that had ensured the status of evergreens. Although he did not build his career at the festivals, because he was more pop-rock oriented, he had several festival appearances during 1990s including 2005 Grad Prix at National Eurovision Festival "Dora".Boris  no longer performs at the festival stages , except as a special guest with the show program. 

In his career he performed more than a hundred humanitarian concerts supporting various organizations including Autism League of Croatia and "Against Animal Brutality Croatia". 

Awards: "Family Radio Award" for the Best Songwriter (1997); two times "Zlatna Ruza" recipient awarded by the Vecernji List voted for the most popular singer by the readers and editors (1998, 2005); "Zlatna Ptica" by Croatia Records for over a million sold records (1999); Grand prix at the Croatian Radio Festival, Vodice (1999); Grand prix (first prize of jury) Zagrebfest with the song "Sve Jeseni i Zime" (2001); "Crystal guitar" award for the Best Selling artist in Croatia (2002); two times winner of the Croatian song for the song of Europe "Dora" (with F. Valentic for the song "Vukovi Umiru Sami", 2005 and "Moja stikla", 2006); Hit of The Year Award by the "Turki party" 2. Program of the Croatian Radio (2005).
