Environment Canada warning of strong winds in Mississauga and Brampton

Strong winds are in the forecast for Brampton and Mississauga.

On Monday (December 6), strong winds are expected to begin in the afternoon and last throughout the day and into the evening.

Winds are projected to reach speeds of 70 to 80 km per hour, which can result in driving hazards, such as loose objects and tree branches being thrown or knocked over.

Residents are encouraged to drive with caution, and avoid leaving their homes if possible.
