Peel Regional Police announced on social media Monday evening (Sept. 23) that they will soon be releasing results of a just completed enforcement blitz at Trinity Common Mall and Bramalea City Centre in Brampton.
The action takes place after similar blitzes over two weekends at Ridgeway Plaza in Mississauga, which resulted in 530 charges and 19 vehicles being seized at a location notorious for illegal driving behaviour.
Police said they were at Trinity Common Mall and Bramalea City Centre and will be sharing the results over the next couple of days.
Over the course of two weekends in September, police conducted a strategic enforcement operation at Ridgeway Plaza in Mississauga.
“This saw tremendous results, numerous charges laid,” Constable Tyler Bell-Moreno said in a video released on X (formerly Twitter). “Many members of our community were very happy to see us there conducting enforcement.
“I received many messages on my profile of people very happy, very thankful that we were there, and many people were asking us to do the same thing at Trinity Common Mall in Brampton. Well, Peel police was listening. Ask and you shall receive.”

Bell-Moreno said officers were out at Trinity Common over the past weekend.
“They were there overnight on Friday and last night (Sunday) conducting strategic enforcement targeting highway traffic offences, unruly behaviour and nuisance gatherings,” he said. “So, stay tuned over the course of the next couple of days we’ll get you the results of this operation.”
The beefed-up enforcement of the area is in response to ongoing concerns and complaints from residents and businesses over the past few years.
