Employee reportedly stabbed during robbery at Mississauga pharmacy

Officers are investigating an armed robbery in Mississauga this afternoon.

Police were called shortly after 6:00 p.m. for a robbery at a pharmacy in the area of Royal Windsor Drive and Southdown Road.

Police say there are reports that an employee was stabbed during the incident.

Injuries have not been confirmed at this time.

Officers and paramedics remain at the scene.

More information to come as the investigation continues.


UPDATE: Police say an adult female victim has been taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition. The investigation is ongoing.
