Employee at Beer Store in Brampton has tested positive for COVID-19

An employee at a Beer Store in Brampton has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a statement put out by the company, an employee at the Beer Store located at 198 Queen Street East has tested positive for the virus.
The employee’s last shift was on Sunday, April 18th.
“All potentially affected employees will either symptom monitor or self-isolate based on the circumstances as a precautionary measure,” they said in a statement.
The store has temporarily closed its location to implement its full COVID-19 cleaning protocol which includes a thorough disinfectant deep cleaning.
The store will be open once cleaning and contact tracing are complete.

According to the statement, the Beer Store has implemented mandatory employee face coverings in all stores and public distancing protocols are already in place.
