Emergency Services on Scene for Fire Call in Mississauga

Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services are investigating a fire call this evening.

Police got a call at 6:38 p.m. for a fire in the area of Grand Park Drive and Burnhamthorpe, north of Mavis.

It is believed to be a garbage compactor on fire, police report.

Roads are closed in the area for the time being.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.
