Emergency crews responding to suspected gas leak in Brampton

Emergency services are on scene for a potential gas leak in Brampton this morning (Aug. 18).

At around 10:30 a.m., Brampton Fire & Emergency Services responded for a suspected natural gas leak at Silver Maple Ct near Queen St E and Dixie Rd.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

Crews are continuing to operate at the scene. Residents may want to avoid the area.

UPDATE: Brampton Fire & Emergency Services says they’ve concluded the investigation and have begun clearing the scene.
