Emergency crews are on scene at a possible high-rise fire in Mississauga.
Shortly after 11:00 a.m., Peel police said officers and Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services are responding to a possible blaze at a building in the Burnhamthorpe and Duke of York area, near Square One.
Roads in the affected area are closed.

UPDATE: Peel paramedics say that one person has been taken to local hospital in serious condition.
UPDATE: Peel police recently announced that the patient has minor injuries. Roads will re-open shortly.
