Emergency construction closes Burlington road

Emergency road work will shut down a Burlington road for two days.

Britannia Road will be temporarily closed from Bell School Line to Appleby Line on July 8 and 9.

The work has to be carried out for necessary culvert replacement.

Local traffic will still be able to access the area, but otherwise, motorists are asked to avoid the area this weekend.

A detour route around the area has been designed and signs have been posted identifying the temporary route.
