Elderly woman found dead under suspicious circumstances in Mississauga: Police

Police are investigating a death that they believe to be suspicious in Mississauga.

Peel police say a woman in her 80s has been found deceased in the Hurontario St. and Burnhamthorpe Rd. area.

Police say a man in his 80s is in custody.

Police say the victim and the suspect are known to each other. 

The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau has taken carriage of the investigation.
