A new Oakville condominium shows that sustainability can go hand-in-hand with sophisticated style.

The Residences at Bronte Lakeside, a six-storey building located in the heart of Bronte Village, combine innovative sustainable features and smart technology with first-class architecture and interior design.

The luxury green condominium delivers an eco-friendly, energy-saving lifestyle while still delivering the utmost in comfort and convenience.

It incorporates the TRAK International Green Energy Resources’ Smart Energy System™ (SES), a design that combines several heating, cooling and ventilation technologies.

Among those technologies is a state-of-the-art GeoExchange system, using renewable energy from the earth to heat and cool the building as needed, then returning that energy to the ground. It allows for simultaneous heating or cooling in any season without reliance on fossil fuels.

The Alliance United building goes beyond the heating and cooling systems to “create a truly green building” with multiple sustainable features.

Residents need not worry when ice storms or grid blackouts strike as their lights and heat will stay on and their fridges will stay cold, thanks to the building’s independent on-site power generation system. The SES system provides safe air circulation throughout the building with hospital-grade air filtration and duct purification that destroys viruses, germs, bacteria, mold, etc.

There several other eco-friendly features which include a tri-sorter for recycling, LED lighting throughout the building, snow melt features that minimize salt use on the access ramp and outdoor amenity areas, dual-flush, low flow toilets, low E argon windows, programmable thermostats and roughed-in electric car charging stations at each underground parking spot.

Residents can also take advantage of the SmartOne advanced home automation technology that provides them with a master control for in-suite and community functions, accessed through a voice and touch-enabled digital wall pad in each home.

They can use it to program the digital door lock with multiple access codes, monitor their home security system at home or remotely, control lights, be alerted of smoke or water issues, receive event notices, communicate with visitors and allow them access.

There’s also a licence plate recognition system will automatically grant access to the parking garage for residents’ vehicles. An integrated central package delivery system will notify residents on their mobile app of deliveries.

Along with all those comprehensive green features, residents at the new condominium located close to the waterfront can live in luxurious suites designed by award-winning architect Gianni Ria of the IBI Group.

Residents in each suite can enjoy stunning waterfront views on a spacious balcony or terrace or the award-winning hotel-like amenities by Patton Design Studio that include state-of-the-art fitness, social and lifestyle spaces.

Suite features include nine-foot ceilings on typical floors and 10-feet on the penthouse level, three designer-inspired standard packages, quartz stone countertops, porcelain tile, fine European millwork and engineered hardwood flooring.

Gourmet kitchens include custom European-style cabinetry, undermounted valance lighting, stainless steel appliances, and designer-selected backsplash choices.

Spa-inspired bathrooms include porcelain tile floors and shower surrounded, frameless glass showers and quartz countertops.

Units, from one to three bedrooms, range in price from $700,000 to $3.9M.
