East Hamilton watermain break to affect traffic along busy section of Barton Street

Crews from Hamilton Water are on the scene of a major watermain break Wednesday (Jan. 19) that will reduce lanes along a busy portion of Barton Street throughout the day.
According to the City of Hamilton, crews are working in the area of 2255 Barton St E.
For the duration of the repair, the City said there will be significant lane restrictions on Barton from Woodward Ave to Nash Road.
Motorists are urged to consider alternate routes or expect delays when travelling through the area.
Work is expected to wrap up by 4 p.m. Wednesday.
