Early morning fire at Brampton plaza under investigation

Firefighters in Brampton are on the scene of a two-alarm blaze at a plaza in the area of Dixie Road and Peter Robertson Boulevard Wednesday morning (Jan. 26).

Crews were called to the plaza just before 6 a.m to reports of the fire but were able to bring the situation under control quickly.

No injuries have been reported and the Brampton Fire Department’s investigative team has been called in to investigate the cause of the blaze.

Residents in the area of the plaza are being asked to avoid the immediate area as crews clear the scene and the investigation gets underway.
