Early morning crash in Brampton sends cyclist to hospital

An early morning collision in Brampton on Tuesday (Aug. 17) has sent a cyclist to hospital.

Peel Regional Police said a call came in at 7:22 a.m. reporting a collision between a vehicle and cyclist in the area of Sandalwood Parkway and Heart Lake Road.

The cyclist, police said, sustained minor injuries and the driver of the car remained on the scene.

There are no road closures in the area.
