Early morning carjackers target victim in Brampton shopping plaza

Criminal investigators are on the scene of a carjacking in Brampton this morning.
According to Peel Regional Police the victim was near their vehicle in a plaza parking lot in the area of Sandalwood Pkwy. E. and Richvale Dr. N. just before 8:30 a.m.
A man and woman approached the victim, grabbed the keys and fled with the car.
There were no injuries reported.
The vehicle is a white Mazda hatchback with the license plate “BVTD 338”.
The car thieves are described as a white man in his 20s, 5-foot-10, slim, long brown hair. The second culprit is a white woman, in her 20s with a slim build.
