The Brampton resident says he was overjoyed when scanning his ticket and found he’d matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order for the Feb. 3 Lotto 6/49 draw.

“I scanned my ticket on the OLG app and saw ‘Big Winner’ come up – I was very happy to see I finally won,” he said while picking up his $100,000 windfall at the OLG prize centre in Toronto.

Sekularac said he plans to put the winnings away and save for his retirement.

he OLG says Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1, and a draw every day. The OLG says it supports safe play and responsible gambling through its PlaySmart program.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mrs. Convenience on Bridge Street in Niagara Falls.
