Durham Police seize sawed-off shotgun, fentanyl after raid on Oshawa home

Durham police executed a search warrant at an Oshawa home on Friday, seizing a variety of weapons, drugs and cash.

The Guns and Gang unit raided the Centre Street South house on October 15. They found a loaded 9 mm pistol, a loaded sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun, an unmodified gauge and a a rifle, along with numerous rounds of ammo. None of the guns were legally owned or properly stored.

During the search they also found numerous different drugs including; fentanyl, cocaine, meth, MDMA and Percocet. The estimated street value is $75,000. They also found $7,500 in Canadian currency.

Police arrested five people during the investigation, who each face numerous charges. They include;

  • Christopher Allan, 42, of no fixed address,
  • George Yeo, 32 of Whitby,
  • Jennifer Pyne, 26, of Janetville,
  • Judith Pomeroy, 57, of Oshawa, and
  • Jason Warren, 46, of Oshawa
