Durham police charge two in Toronto human trafficking case

Two people have been arrested in a human trafficking case after a Durham Regional Police raid in Toronto.

The Durham Police Human Trafficking (HTU) and Tactical Units raided a home on Thomas Riley Rd. in the Islington – City Centre neighborhood of Etobicoke on Apr. 27. The raid is part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation in which police believe there may be more victims than they are currently aware.

The raid resulted in two arrests namely; Kemoy Chisholm, 31 of no fixed address, and Roslyn Smith, 25 of Vaughan. Chisholm is charged with seven charges related to human trafficking and held until a bail hearing. Smith is charged with obtaining sexual services and drug possession and was released with conditions.

Chisholm is known to operate under various aliases including; Money, K Money, Havoc, King, and Moneybaby. Smith meanwhile is also known under the nickname Rosie.
