Durham cops find 25 kg of cocaine worth $2.5 million in Toronto drug raid
DRPS seized 25 kg of cocaine worth $2.5 million

Two Torontonians are in Durham Regional Police custody after a drug investigation in Toronto uncovered 25 kg of cocaine in a raid.

A drug investigation led Durham officers to Toronto on April 11. Police arrested two men and seized to vehicles in this initial investigation. Inside one of the cars sat 15 kg of cocaine.

Later, officers executed three search warrants at Toronto home and found another 10 kg of cocaine. Altogether the coke stash is estimated to be worth $2.5 million.

Nino Cunanan, 41 of Toronto, was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of rrafficking.

Ali Baek, 54 years of Toronto, was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Both will remain in custody until a bail hearing.
