Hollie Duncan and her Woodstock rink won the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard on Sunday, defeating Kerry Galusha, 7-3, in the championship final at the Oakville Curling Club.

Duncan and her rink, consisting of Megan Balsdon, Rachelle Strybosch and Tess Bobbie, took control of the final with four points in the second.

Steals in the following two ends led to three more points and the winner’s share of the $26,000 total purse for the 2018 Ontario champion and her Woodstock rink.

Team Duncan, who made it to the semis of last weekend’s Oakville Labour Day Classic before dropping a 7-6 decision to Team Tracy Fleury, defeated Jennifer Jones to reach the finals of the third straight bonspiel in Oakville.

Duncan and her Woodstock rink compete at the 2021 Home Hardware Olympic Pre-Trials in Liverpool, N.S., from Oct. 26-31.
