Drug investigation nets Oakville man for selling cocaine, fentanyl

A 36-year-old Oakville man identified in a drug trafficking investigation by Halton Regional Police has been arrested and charged with numerous drug offences.

The 1 District Street Crime Unit identified the suspect in February of this year and believed he was responsible for selling for selling cocaine and fentanyl in Halton Region.

Earlier this month, officers executed search warrants on a vehicle and residence in Oakville and as a result seized the following items (pictured below):

  • 60 grams of cocaine
  • 10 grams of crack cocaine
  • 30 grams of fentanyl
  • A loaded high capacity Glock magazine
  • Approximately $36,000 in cash

Carlton Jackson, 36, of Oakville was arrested and charged with:

  • Trafficking a Controlled Substance – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device

Jackson was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
