A driving instructor was caught speeding in Brock Township while rushing their students to their driving tests.

Durham Regional Police reported the stop shortly after 11 a.m. on January 17. That morning they pulled over the instructor in Brock Township for speeding at 40 km/h over the speed limit.

Police said the instructor was taking three of their students to their driving test, for which they were running late.

Officers unimpressed with the excuse said, “Please slow down and obey the speed limit.”

Speeding at 40 km/h over the speed limit nets drivers a nearly $300 fine and four demerit points in Ontario. If one of the students had been driving they would have had their license suspended.
