Drivers will face lane closures all week on QEW through Burlington and Oakville

Drivers who use the QEW through Burlington and Oakville overnight should be ready for some delays this week.

According to the Ministry of Transportation, the following closures will be in effect for the week of Dec. 12 to 17:

Two lanes on the westbound QEW between Trafalgar Rd. and Dorval Dr. will be close for maintenance work from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Dec. 12 to 13.

All on-ramp lanes will be close for construction on the eastbound QEW at Fairview St./Plains Rd. from midnight to 5 a.m., Dec. 12 to 17.

Lanes will be closed for construction on the eastbound QEW between Brant St. and Hwy. 403 in Oakville 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Dec. 12 to 17.
