Drivers urged to use alternative roads after a collision in Stoney Creek

Hamilton Regional Police have completely closed off Hwy 8 in both directions, following a crash this afternoon in Stoney Creek.

On Saturday (Feb. 25) 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., police responded to a collision in Stoney Creek.

Police are continuing with investigations and have blocked off the area beginning from Fruitland Rd until Jones Rd.

No information on the incident or injuries has been reported at this time.

Anyone planning to travel close to the crash site is asked to find an alternate route or avoid the area altogether.

It is unknown when the impacted area will open up again to motorists.
