Drivers, pedestrians to proceed with caution as work continues near busy Oakville intersection

Drivers and pedestrians approaching the corner of a busy Oakville intersection on Kerr St. are being asked to be careful this week as construction continues near an Oakville Transit stop.

Oakville Transit is asking those passing through the intersection on the northwest corner of Kerr St. and Stewart St. to “proceed with caution” as the sidewalk is getting a facelift.

Construction in the area is expected to continue all week.

While work is being done, bus stop #2453 on Route 14/14A has been moved five metres to the north until Friday, May 5.

The temporary bus stop is located between the Salad Thai Restaurant (398 Kerr St.) and Oakville Pizzeria Authentic Afghan Bakery (404 Kerr St.) on Kerr St.
